A trusted partner

CSC was the first to market with electronic document recording (eRecording) in the U.S., offering both paper and electronic real estate document recording solutions. We're the partner of choice for submitters of real estate documents and government recording offices because our focus on service has been part of the company's foundation since 1899.

Some of the world's largest banks and commercial lenders trust CSC to provide solutions for secure real estate document recording, reducing risk in their lien portfolios, improving transaction speeds, and creating a secure environment for their financial processing needs.

If you're looking for a business partner that's committed, agile, expert, and genuine, you've come to the right place.

We're ready to talk.

The CSC advantage and our history

1899

CSC was founded in 1899 by two Delaware attorneys, Josiah Marvel and Christopher Ward, who saw an opportunity to simplify the way corporations were formed, operated, and maintained their compliance.

1990

In 1990, CSC expanded beyond the First State with the acquisition of Corporation Information Services in Tallahassee, Florida, adding expanded Uniform Commercial Code and lien services, as well as corporate and government document retrieval.

2002

Lancaster County, PA is the first jurisdiction to eRecord an electronically submitted document.

2011

CSC officially entered the electronic document recording (eRecording) industry in 2011 with the acquisition of Ingeo Systems, an eRecording provider since 2002. Today, CSC offers both paper and electronic real estate document recording, and we continue to maintain the most secure, web-based eRecording solution on the market.

2015

Today

Our secure eRecording platform allows document submitters—including title companies, law firms, and financial institutions—to electronically submit real estate documents to recording offices throughout the U.S. We also partner with government recording offices in more than 3,600 jurisdictions across the nation to electronically review, accept or reject, and return acknowledgement of real estate recordings to submitters through an interface with the recorder's land records management system or a standalone web interface.

CSC offers an array of enterprise-specific solutions for every stage of the business life cycle in all 50 states with office locations and capabilities in more than 140 jurisdictions across Europe, the Americas, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East. We've grown since 1899, but at our core, we're still a service company with our founders' goals at the forefront—to make business easier and more profitable wherever it's done.
