iTax for Recorders and Submitters
We designed iTax in close collaboration with counties and submitters. Our goal? To create a superior way to process transfer tax documents and enable electronic document recording (eRecording) of related deeds. iTax is a web-based service that requires no additional hardware or software.
Using iTax, county personnel can review and process tax documents, deeds, mortgages and related documents. Once approved, documents are routed to the county’s eRecording queue. iTax enables counties to electronically record a higher percentage of their recording volumes, resulting in cost savings for counties and their taxpayers.
With iTax, submitters can now electronically file deeds for eRecording in states where it previously wasn’t possible. Title companies and closing agents can achieve bigger cost savings, reduce timing gaps, eliminate payment errors, increase document security, and reduce rejections on a far greater portion of their recording volume.
