Ingeo and Union County NJ Demonstrate Speed and Cost Effectiveness of Electronic Document Recording System

6/15/2005 12:00:00 AM

Joanne Rajoppi, Union County Recorder, hosted a seminar last week to demonstrate the county’s new capability for eFiling that uses Ingeo eRecord, Ingeo System’s service that enables the county recording office to accept electronic real estate documents for official recording. So many submitters of documents for recording responded to her invitation that a second seminar will be held next month.

Union County is one of the first in New Jersey and the New York metropolitan area to use this new technology. “This truly is the cutting edge for processing land records and will be used across the nation by counties and major submitters in the near future,” Rajoppi said. “With Ingeo’s technology, we are eliminating paper from the recording process, improving customer service and posting significant savings in both time and money. My office is committed to continuous improvement in our systems and we are very pleased to have found this new document-processing solution with the vendor, Ingeo Systems, Inc.”

Ingeo is prepared to assist any county in implementing an electronic recording solution, regardless of budget or technology constraints. “We continue to evolve our technology to enable all recorders to take advantage of the benefits of electronic recording,” said Karl Klessig, CEO of Ingeo. “With the release of our latest Ingeo eRecord version, there isn’t a county in the U.S. that can’t take advantage today of our electronic document recording capability.”
