Ingeo and TD Service Company Announce Partnership to Offer eRecording Services

5/10/2006 12:00:00 AM

Ingeo Systems, Inc., the nation’s number one provider of electronic document recording technology, and TD Service Company, a nationwide provider of assignment and lien release services, announced an integration partnership that will streamline and automate transaction-based processes associated with the electronic recording of real estate documents.

The alliance enables county recording offices to accept electronically prepared digital documents for official recording. “The partnership between Ingeo and TD Service Company combines the strength of each company,” said Sandra Medina, TD’s President and COO. “TD Service Company creates solutions that extend beyond today. We do it by investing in technology and by consistently listening to our client’s needs. TD’s partnership with Ingeo is another example of answering today’s challenges and creating tomorrow’s solutions in the mortgage banking industry.”

The partnership combines Ingeo’s eRecord service with TD’s assignment and lien release preparation and recording services. “Ingeo’s partnership with TD has proven to be invaluable to both companies,” said Karl Klessig, Ingeo’s CEO. “Already we’re recording in San Bernardino County, California and we’re moving into some Florida counties as well. After Florida, our next move will be into Washington State and Kansas.” Ingeo is live in 49 counties nationwide and is eager to connect TD’s submitters into these counties as soon as possible. Other counties in California also are scheduled for near-term implementation.

DeAna Thompson, the Chief Deputy Recorder in San Bernardino County, California said that implementation of this streamlined service cut the processing time by two thirds. “Working with Ingeo for the past three years, we’ve seen tremendous time-cost savings and improvements in customer service,” Thompson said. “Now, with TD Service Company in the mix, we’re eliminating more workflow processes.”
